  • Summary: “Esperanza Community Housing is pleased to invite local artists to submit artwork for its upcoming Day of the Dead Art Exhibition. Our annual Day of the Dead Art Exhibition seeks to honor the Mexican tradition of remembering deceased loved ones through art exhibitions, altars, workshops, dance, music, food and community gatherings.”

For the 2026 RFQ, we are looking for artists or artist teams that represent the San Diego/ Northern Baja region, with an interest in responding to themes relevant to the history, present, and future of Arts District Liberty Station: our increasingly interconnected multicultural/multinational region, the changing natural environment and coastal ecosystems, deepening understanding of the history of NTC and San Diego, and the role of art in activating public space and engaging the diverse populations of our region.”
