  • Summary: “This year's exhibition theme, Joyful Acts of Resistance explores how joy itself can be an act of defiance against oppression, hardship, or conformity. The photographs capture moments where laughter, dance, color, ritual, and everyday tenderness become tools of resistance. Instead of focusing on the heaviness of struggle, the show celebrates resilience through celebration, showing how communities transform resistance into a vibrant affirmation of life.”

  • Deadline: 9/26/25

  • Location: San Diego Pride Office Gallery

  • Exhibition Dates: 10/17/25 - 12/5/25

  • Mediums: Photography

  • Entry Fee: No fee

  • Summary: “We are excited to be partnering with Salit to bring more art exhibitions to coincide with their performances. The Salit Conservatory offers professional concerts and education. Exhibiting artists will also be invited to bring two additional pieces of art to be displayed on easels or table tops for the Salit mixer on October 19.”

  • Summary: “This exhibition captures the beauty, warmth, and quiet transitions of the fall season, inviting artists to reflect on autumn as both a visual spectacle and an emotional landscape. From golden hues and shifting landscapes to nostalgic reflections, artists are encouraged to share works that highlight the season’s fleeting beauty and depth. “Autumn Views” celebrates the richness of fall, offering viewers a chance to pause and connect with the reflective spirit of the season.”

  • Summary: “The Hyde Art Gallery and the Grossmont College Ceramics Program proudly presents VIEWPOINT: Ceramics 2026, the latest chapter in a storied ceramics exhibition series that began in 1977. Returning for Spring 2026, this juried showcase reimagines the spirit of the seminal VIEWPOINT exhibitions, which brought together artists from across Southern California to explore diverse perspectives in contemporary ceramic practice.”

  • Summary: “The Public Arts Commission invites artists to create a sculpture for the entryway roundabout in the city’s newest public space, Esperanza Park. Esperanza Park is a new 7.5 acres park featuring children’s play areas, shaded picnic spaces, fitness equipment, sports fields, basketball courts, a dog park, and connectivity to the regional CV Link, a regional multi-modal trail system.”
