Los Angeles Art Association's 2025 Open Show

• Summary: “Since 2006, Los Angeles Art Association's Open Show has grown into a renown international survey exhibition of emerging art mounted by the organization whose mission is to serve emerging artists.”

• Deadline: 8/25/25

• Location: Gallery 825, Los Angeles

• Exhibition Dates: 12/13/25 - 1/9/25

• Mediums: All

• Entry Fee: Non-members: $50 for up to 5 entries. LAAA Members: $25 for up to 5 entries.

Floral, Fauna, & Figures Fall Open Art Exhibition

• Summary: “Get ready to let your creativity bloom! We’re excited to announce our upcoming open call and juried All-Media September Art Show, celebrating the beauty of Floral, Fauna, and Figures. Whether you create with paint, pencil, clay, mixed media, or something entirely unique, we want to see it! This open exhibition welcomes artists of all styles and skill levels to submit their work.”

• Deadline: 8/31/25

• Location: The Whittier Art Gallery, Whittier

• Exhibition Dates: 9/3/25 - 9/27/25

• Entry Fee: $10 per piece for Gallery members, $15 per piece for non-members

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Art Exhibition Program

• Summary: “Artists, curators, and artist teams selected through this Request for Proposals (RFP) will be eligible to work with the LAX Art Program staff to develop temporary exhibitions and installations for art exhibition sites at LAX’s facilities. Exhibitions and installation projects commissioned for LAX through this RFP will include a curatorial budget that may range between $9,000 and $14,000.”

• Deadline: 9/17/25

• Location: Los Angeles International Airport

• Exhibition Dates: Minimum display period of twelve (12) months

• Mediums: All

• Entry Fee: No fee

Cloud 9.0

• Summary: “We’re putting together an exhibition that’s totally out of this world and we want YOU to be part of it. Cloud 9.0 is all about art that lifts us, shifts us, and takes us somewhere extraordinary. Think dreamy, futuristic, otherworldly, surreal, cosmic, or just plain magical—if it makes us feel like we’ve left Earth for a while, we’re in!”

• Exhibition Dates: 10/11/25 - 11/1/25

San Diego Edgemoor Acute Psychiatric Hospital Call For Muralists

• Summary: “The County of San Diego Edgemoor Acute Psychiatric Hospital, Public Art Committee is looking for muralists to enhance the interior and exterior of a 105- foot wall. The interior wall facing the courtyard will support the patient experience while the exterior wall facing the Sally Port and parking lot will support the wayfinding which is essential for creating a stress-free experience for visitors and patients alike.”

• Deadline: 9/22/25

• Location: Edgemoor Acute Psychiatric Hospital, Santee

• Mediums: Mural

• Entry Fee: No fee
