• Summary: “Absolutely Abstracts asks artists to dig deep into the inner workings of the mind, expressing a visual language of shape, form, texture and color. You may submit if you’re a local San Diego artist or a member of the EAP, submissions must be your original artworks.”

• Location: Escondido Arts Partnership

LOCAL: An Open Call for Artists in Greater Los Angeles

• Summary: “In celebration of Santa Monica’s 150th anniversary, the Santa Monica Art Museum invites artists from Santa Monica and the Greater Los Angeles area to submit work for LOCAL — a group exhibition highlighting the creative pulse of our region. LOCAL explores the layered identities, local stories, and cultural rhythms that shape Santa Monica and the wider LA landscape.”

San Diego County Regional Airport Authority Call For Art

• Summary: “The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority seeks Statement of Qualifications from artists or artist teams for two (2) separate public art projects, the first is to design, fabricate, transport, deliver, and consult during installation of their artwork to San Diego International Airport, and the second is limited to design and consultation during installation. The Authority will install the Artist’s permanent artwork in conjunction with the Artist providing artwork installation consulting services. Artists working in all media are encouraged to apply.”

California Welcome Center Art Exhibit

• Summary: “The California Welcome Center of Yucca Valley is proud to announce its 7th statewide California call for art. This artist opportunity is open to all eligible California residents.  All eligible submissions will be reviewed by our California Judges. Winners will have their submitted work displayed at the California Welcome Center in Yucca Valley, for a duration of 12 months.”
