• Summary: “We are seeking works that delve into the realms of science fiction, fantasy, and the surreal—anything that transcends the boundaries of our everyday reality. Whether your art explores futuristic visions, mythical creatures, or dreamlike landscapes, we want to showcase the creative brilliance that lies in the extraordinary.”

• Deadline: 8/15/25

• Location: The Gallery at the Yorba Linda Cultural Arts Center

• Exhibition Dates: 9/9/25 - 11/7/25

• Mediums: All

• Entry Fee: No fee

It's OK, But It Ain't Right

• Summary: “It’s Ok, But It Ain't Right” explores the space between complacency and confrontation - the grey zones of acceptance, dysfunction, and dissonance. This exhibition seeks work that challenges what we tolerate, what we overlook, and what we know in our gut doesn’t sit right — socially, politically, emotionally, or personally.”

• Deadline: 8/15/25

• Location: Woodward Contemporary, San Diego

• Exhibition Dates: 8/27/26 - 9/27/26

Abstraction of Reality

• Summary: North Coastal Art Gallery is seeking works for their 1st Open Annual Abstract Awards Show: “Abstraction of Reality”. “The show is very special, as it began at the gallery with one abstract artist, named David Schlegel, who was devoted to abstract art. This exhibit is in tribute to his passion and dedicated work. The Gallery will continue to welcome the diversified talent of all artists and to engage with the arts community at large.”

• Deadline: 8/20/25

• Location: North Coastal Art Gallery, Carlsbad

• Exhibition Dates: 9/7/25 - 10/4/25

• Mediums: Oil; Acrylics; Watermedia; Other Media (Includes: Pastels, Drawing, Inks, Printmaking, and Alcohol ink); Mixed Media/Collage; Photography; Digital Art; Sculpture\Wall Hanging Sculpture; and Textiles. Giclée’s are accepted but not judged. AI is not accepted.

• Entry Fee: Members: $35 for up to 2 entries, and $15 for each additional entry. Non-Members: $40 for up to 2 entries, and $15 for each additional entry.

Face Bits

• Summary: “We’re doing things a little differently this show and asking for no full portraits, but pieces of faces in some form. Whether it be an iconic smile, a unique animal eye, or some kind of ear monster, let’s see it!”

• Deadline: 8/25/25

• Location: Carter Sexton Artists Materials, North Hollywood

• Exhibition Dates: September 2025

• Mediums: All

• Entry Fee: $15

City of Laguna Beach Juried Fine Art Exhibition

• Summary: “Open to all Orange County artists 18 years of age or older. Work must be original and executed within the past two (2) years. Work must not have been previously exhibited at City Hall.”

• Deadline: 9/1/25

• Location: Laguna Beach City Hall

• Exhibition Dates: 9/21/25 - 11/14/25

• Mediums: Two-dimensional art works measuring no more than 48”(h) x 36”(w) framed

• Entry Fee: $25
