Summary: “The Brooks Theater Gallery is located in the lobby of the historic Sunshine Brooks Theater in the heart of Oceanside’s Cultural District. With year-round exhibits curated to relate to the themes of Oceanside Theatre Company’s main stage and youth productions, the gallery is seen by artist lovers, theater goers, music lovers, tourists, and the Oceanside community.” The Brooks Theater Gallery is currently accepting submissions for “Open Canvas”, a show where every medium, style, and subject is welcome.

Summary: “The exhibition,"Off the Wall", is an exhibition for 3D Artists that focuses on three dimensional art of all kinds. It is an exhibit that celebrates 3D art in all of its variety and complexity, including, but not limited to sculpture, assemblage, ceramics and fiber arts. It includes art that exposes the great diversity of techniques, materials and concepts driving contemporary 3D art.”

Summary: “Everywhere home” invites artists to explore the many facets of what it is to feel at home. Home is a deeply personal experience that varies for everyone. The Cannon Gallery is looking for artworks that interpret moments we feel home whether present in physical space, a mental state carried within you, a virtual space created through technological advancement, or beyond. Throughout life, we experience and create moments of home in our everyday lives: through a door opened for someone else, a corner of clutter, a plate of food, a name on an envelope, or a chair waiting for you within a space of community.”
*Open to contemporary artists 18 years of age and older, who live, work or have a studio in San Diego County.

Whether abstract, realism, or anything in between, all genres and mediums are welcome. Show us how you use color to express your artistic style….and where point of hue leads you!”

Mediums: “Acrylic, oils, watercolor, drawing, photography, assemblage, collage, encaustic, mixed media, fiber art, and 3D art that fits on an 18" x 18" pedestal. This exhibit does not accept jewelry, video, film, performance art, installations, digital art, reproductions, or AI art.”
