Here’s the latest SoCal Art Open Calls
Summary: California Creative Arts is accepting submissions for their latest exhibition at the Colony Theatre. This exhibit coincides with the theatre’s summer productions.
Deadline: 7/6/26
Location: The Colony Theatre Gallery, Burbank
Exhibition Dates: 7/14/26 - 9/1/26
Mediums: All
Entry Fee: “This is a California Creative Arts hosted show. Members receive priority. If you are not a member, you can join here. We are a nonprofit. Your membership fee is tax deductible, and you keep 100% of your sales. No fee to apply. Non-members, if accepted, must become a member or pay a one-time participation fee of $40 (it’s only $10 more for a one-year membership).”
Summary: “It's summer in San Diego. How do you party in the summer? Show us. Beach time? Fireworks? Urban celebrations? Painting on actual blocks? Toys? Family? Friends & food? Balloons? Cocktails? If it’s festive…let us see it! Colorful abstracts welcome.”

Location: Art on 30th, San Diego
Exhibition Dates: 7/18/26 - 8/14/26
Mediums: All 2D artworks are welcome as well as any 3D artwork (glass/ceramic sculpture) that fits on a pedestal. Photography, fabric, and journal pages are also welcomed if prepared for hanging.
Entry Fee: $35 for up to 2 pieces
Summary: “The 29th annual exhibition, From Stone to Light, explores the profound intersection of glass art and mental well-being. It celebrates the unique alchemy of the medium—how sand and earth transform through patience and fire into vessels of light—as a striking mirror for human resilience, healing, and connection. For our 29th Annual Glass Show, we invite artists to submit work that engages with these themes of transformation, resilience, healing, or connection, presenting a unique opportunity to showcase a breadth of diversity within this specialized medium.”

Location: Fallbrook Art Center, Fallbrook
Exhibition Dates: 9/12/26 - 10/24/26

Entry Fee: For non-guild artists: $50 non-refundable entry fee due at the time of form completion. For guild artists: $40 non-refundable entry fee due at the time of form completion.
Summary: ace/121 Gallery is a multidisciplinary venue located in the center of Glendale, CA at the ace/121 artist colony, curated and operated by Glendale Arts. The Gallery hosts year-round art exhibits, live performances, screenings, conversations, readings, classes, workshops, and special events. “Artists working in a wide range of media are invited to submit work for consideration in four themed group exhibitions exploring color, transformation, perception, connection, and community.”
