Calls For Art 5/25/25

This week's issue of SoCal Art Opportunities is sponsored by Willow Pond SLO, a 14-acre creative retreat on the Central Coast of California. Willow Pond offers workshops across multiple disciplines, from Fiber Arts to Plein Air painting, Figurative Drawing to Abstraction, Professional Arts Development courses, and more.

Make sure to check out the upcoming 4-day workshop with Stephanie Metz: Needle Felting: A Sculptural Approach on August 15 - August 18, 2025. In this intermediate-to-advanced workshop, you will explore multiple ways to elevate your three-dimensional needle felting to the next level. Stephanie Metz incorporates techniques from other sculpture traditions (working in clay, carving stone, and joining metal) to reframe your thinking about needle felting.

There are also still a few spots remaining at Japanese Paper-making & Bookbinding Workshop!
