Pride Art Show

• Summary: “Gallery 787 invites you to submit your artwork for the Pride Show!  Artists should identity as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, but the theme of the actual art pieces is left open to the artist!”

• Deadline: 5/26/25

• Location: Gallery 787, Remainders Creative Reuse, Pasadena

• Exhibition Duration: 6/14/25 - 7/5/25

• Mediums: All mediums are welcome as long as it can be hung on a wall. Sculptures requiring a pedestal will be considered but space is very limited.

• Entry Fee: $15

Summertime Vintage

• Summary: “It’s summer, let’s play. Inspired by LACP’s location between the Toy District, Little Tokyo and the Arts District in Los Angeles, this call invites submissions for photo-based works that explore vintage and lo-fi aesthetics and technologies from a multitude of perspectives, practices and approaches.”

• Deadline: 6/3/25

• Location: Los Angeles Center of Photography Headquarters, Los Angeles

• Summary: Art Share L.A. is hosting a Summer Block Party on Saturday, 8/2. “We’re looking for dynamic, engaging artists to paint live during the event, adding vibrant energy and creativity to an unforgettable outdoor summer celebration in the heart of the Arts District.”

Art & Science

• Summary: “Creative expression collides with systematic observation of the natural world. Both use creativity and imagination, combine the subjectivisms of art and the objectivism of science.”

• Entry Fee: Members: $20 for one, additional $5 for each piece Public: $30 for one, additional $5 for each piece

Monarch Bay Plaza Photography Contest

• Summary: “To enter the Monarch Bay Photography Contest, you must be an amateur photographer, 18 years or older at the time of entry, and a legal resident of California. Only one (1) photo submittal per entrant is allowed. Photo subjects must be taken in California showing California's beauty and bio-diversity, such as landscapes, coastal scenes, mountains, deserts, wildlife, and more. Any images with identifiable people will be disqualified.”

• Deadline: 7/1/25

• Location: Monarch Bay Plaza, Dana Point

• Exhibition Date: 8/15/25

• Mediums: Photography

• Entry Fee: No fee

“The Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture is offering free temporary storage of artwork for artists and community-based organizations who have been impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires.

Storage will be made available to artists and arts and community-based organizations who have lost access to home storage, studio space, commercial storage, or other areas for storing artwork due to the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires. Storage will be offered on a first come, first served basis, with priority given to applicants in the immediate fire perimeter. This service will be available for a maximum of one year, from July 2025 to July 2026.”
