“Under the Sea” Children’s Area at the Valencia Library Branch

Summary: “The City of Santa Clarita is seeking five artists to create bold, colorful artworks for a magical “Under the Sea” display above the Children’s Area at the Valencia Library Branch! Each selected artist will design a 60” x 60” canvas that will be on view for two years. Inspiring young readers from May 2026 – May 2028. From coral reefs and kelp forests to curious sea creatures and underwater worlds, we’re looking for designs that spark imagination and celebrate the wonder of ocean life.”

Exquisite Potential: Surviving the 21st Century through Surreal Metamorphosis

Summary: “Casa Familiar invites artists to submit work that thinks of metamorphosis as a boundless, enchanted form of transformation that can reshape people, animals, objects, and places. “Exquisite Potential” seeks entries in all types of media by women and non-binary identifying artists who wish to challenge oppressive realities and seek emancipatory sights, sounds, and spaces that emerge anew.”

Huntington Beach Art Center’s Centered on the Center 2026

Summary: “Be part of our annual open call, non-juried exhibition and join one of the Center’s largest community showcases of the year. This exhibition brings together the creativity, voices, and perspectives that define our Center. Don’t miss the chance to share your work, support fellow artists, and celebrate the strength of our creative community.”
Deadline: Submissions will remain open until the 200 artists submission limit is met

Mediums: “Artwork must be the artist's original print, drawing or painting, sculpture, photography, or video installation. Artwork must not be generated in part nor in whole by artificial intelligence which uses any copyrighted source material.”
Entry Fee: $20 for one artwork, $30 for two artworks
