Here’s the latest SoCal Art Open Calls!

  • Summary: “The Studio Door is kicking off the new year with an invitation to San Diego artists to participate in Fresh Works: San Diego Showcase I, an exhibition that highlights what they are working on right now to represent a snapshot of the creativity in our community as we move into 2025. Students, mid-career and professional artists who are interested in selling their creations are encouraged to apply.”

  • Deadline: 11/15/24

  • Location: The Studio Door, San Diego

  • Exhibition Dates: 1/4/25 - 2/1/25

  • Mediums: All

  • Entry Fee: $20

  • Summary: “No limits to style or medium. Submit up to 3 of your favorite works and we will notify you of acceptance. They can be new works or oldies but goodies!”

  • Location: Gallery AF, Los Angeles

  • Exhibition Date: 12/7/24

  • Entry Fee: No fee

  • Summary: “The Escondido Arts Partnership will present the fifteenth exhibition highlighting works created in wood, sponsored by Murphy’s Fine Woodworking. Wood workers from the California region are encouraged to submit contemporary furniture, art furniture, traditional furniture, veneering, wood carving, marquetry Wood art and wood turning into the exhibition.”

  • Summary: “In collaboration with Whosmuseum and Sasse Museum of Art, the “Visual Language of Modernity” juried exhibition is calling for all talented artists to participate! The exhibition is seeking for a wide range of art forms with traditional and new medias, from traditional techniques to digital work and installation art. We vision this exhibition to reflect the multi-aspects of modern creation.”
