Here’s the latest SoCal Art Open Calls!

Arts Connection Community Wall (San Bernardino Art Crawl)

  • Summary: “Call for art submissions to be featured in a community art section at All Eyes Gallery. Artists must be beginning to emerging in their career and based in San Bernardino County.”

  • Deadline: 10/16/24

  • Location: All Eyes Gallery, San Bernardino

  • Exhibition Date: Exhibition will open on 10/26 at 6pm during the Downtown San Bernardino Art Crawl.

  • Mediums: All

  • Entry Fee: No fee

  • Summary: “Call to Artists for diminutive and small scale little works of art, while humble in size can leave a big impression. But remember, Size Matters, 2d works cannot exceed 10” x 10” (NOT including frame). 3D pieces are not to exceed 10”x10”x10”

  • Deadline: Receiving dates for in person jurying- Friday, October 18, 11am-4pm Saturday, October 19, 11am-2pm

  • Location: Escondido Arts Partnership, Escondido

  • Exhibition Dates: 11/9/24 - 12/6/24

  • Mediums: All

  • Entry Fee: You may submit up to 3 pieces. Members: $20 for one, additional $5 for each piece. Public: $30 for one, additional $5 for each piece. You may submit artworks if you live in San Diego County or are a member of the Escondido Arts Partnership.

  • Summary: “We’re looking for all food related artwork! Show us a still life of your favorite dish, a portrait of a pie eating contest, a cartoon pizza creature etc. Be as literal or fantastical as you want!”

  • Deadline: 10/25/24

  • Location: Carter Sexton Artist Materials, North Hollywood

  • Exhibition Dates: Opens 11/2/24, closing date TBA

  • Mediums: Any

  • Entry Fee: $15 per accepted piece

  • Summary: “We intend to have a spectrum of emerging and established photographers to feature 100 images in the exhibition showcasing work that is both digital and film, with a range of styles from landscape to portraits and everything in between, to create a one-of-a-kind captivating experience you won’t want to miss.”

  • Deadline: 10/25/24

  • Location: Gallery 612, Santa Monica

  • Exhibition Dates: 12/5/24 - 12/31/24

  • Mediums: Photography

  • Entry Fee: $25 application fee for a total of 6 submissions

  • Summary: “We invite artists to submit their work for "Art by the Foot," a juried group exhibition showcasing smaller artworks measuring 12 inches or smaller in any dimension. This show is the perfect opportunity for artists to present pieces that are ideal as holiday gifts or as an entry point for new collectors.”

  • Deadline: 10/28/24

  • Location: Echo Park Art, Los Angeles

  • Exhibition Dates: 11/9/24 - 12/28/24

  • Mediums: All

  • Entry Fee: $25 for 3 works of art, $45 for 6
