Here’s the latest SoCal Art Open Calls

  • Summary: “This exhibition celebrates how stories, rituals, and offerings live across generations. Through art, we set the table for those who came before us and invite them to share a night of laughter, love, and song. We invite artists to create work that reflects the deep traditions of Día de los Muertos—art that becomes an ofrenda, a luminous bridge between worlds.”

  • Deadline: 10/15/25

  • Location: Chula Vista Center, Chula Vista

  • Exhibition Dates: 11/2/25 - 11/21/25

  • Mediums: All

  • Entry Fee: No fee

  • Summary: “Artists are invited to submit up to three pieces of artwork each with a maximum size of 18 inches in any dimension for consideration. The exhibition will run throughout the month of December at Lusanet Collective with an evening opening reception scheduled for December 6.”

  • Mediums: Painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, mixed media, sculpture, digital, and video art. No AI accepted.

  • Entry Fee: $35

  • Summary: “This annual juried exhibit showcases artwork from all over the state of California and explores creative movements happening in the state. Open to all living artists ages 18+ residing in California. All entries must be original, completed in the past three years, and not previously shown at the Brea Gallery.”

  • Deadline: 2/6/26

  • Location: Brea Gallery, Brea

  • Exhibition Dates: 4/25/26 - 6/28/26

  • Mediums: All

  • Entry Fee: $10 per entry during the month of October 2025; $20 per entry beginning November 1st through the close of the call
