Here’s the latest SoCal Art Open Calls!
Summary: “Two Twins is organizing a one-night art show at the event space with Joliet Cafe and Speakeasy and is looking for talented young creators to showcase their work. The event will be 5pm to 12:30am on October 5th. Whether you paint, draw, sculpt, take photos, make clothes or have a unique medium, Two Twins would love to see your art! This is a great opportunity to gain exposure, network, and share your creativity with a vibrant community.”

Summary: “Autumn brings a different light...A golden light that closes summer and prepares us for the winter to come. Show us how you use golden hues in your artwork. Grab paint colors like Yellow Oxide, Raw Sienna, Yellow Ochre, metallic gold, or even some gold leaf and bring the magic of autumn to our arts community.”

Mediums: All 2-dimensional art welcome and any 3-dimensional artwork (glass/ceramic sculpture) that fits on a pedestal. Photography, fabric, and journal pages are also welcomed if prepared for hanging.
Entry Fee: $35 for up to 2 pieces, $45 for up to 4 pieces
Summary: “The Huntington Beach Art Center welcomes photography submissions by United States Veteran photographers for an upcoming exhibition to take place October 22 through December 7 at the Huntington Beach Art Center.”

Summary: “The City of Laguna Beach Holiday Palette Competition is a project of the Arts Commission. Winning artists are provided with a 4 ft. x 3 ft. wood palette on which to paint original artwork. The completed palettes are temporary and displayed on lampposts throughout the city during the winter holiday season when and where the City desires for up to 7 years or based on its condition.Entries will be accepted from artists who live, work, or exhibit in Laguna Beach and are 18 years of age or older.”

Exhibition Dates: The completed palette and design becomes the property of the City of Laguna Beach and will be displayed when and where the City desires for up to 7 years or based on its condition.

Summary: Apply to display and sell your art at Amazing Grace Comic Con's first-ever convention in Long Beach. All proceeds benefit Grace on 3rd Community Center.
